This year, our company Dinner & Dance was held on 24 Nov at Sentosa, near the beach.

I have a headach of what to wear. As not very sure of the location, dont feel comfortable to wear too casual. End up wearing a jean and a long top. Get a ride from my colleague to attend a full month celebration at Jurong, then we head to Sentosa around 5pm.

The weather is so hot, untill about 6pm, then is better.

Door gift was a wireless mouse. But dunno how to use it.

The sure-win draw, I got $100 robinson voucher. Not bad, can buy the under garment.

This year, I am one of the winner for Excellence Employee Award. Received a certificate and cash of $250. I have won this in 1997, 2006 & 2007. This 2 years, I have been very busy with the integration and construction of new building. At least all my effort and being recognised.

Too our surprise, our MD reward those who are in the new building committee for their effort to make the co-location of two companies a success. He rewards each member with $250 Takashimaya voucher. Of course, I am one of the members.

As usual, there are some entertainment and food(not so nice). The whole programe end 10.30pm, quite early.

So in total, I brough home with 500 worth of cash/voucher. Not bad huh.

The PSLE result is out today. I am anxious too.

The principle was presenting the national and school result. But all the students and parents were more interested in our child's result. The national result for this year is 294. The JPS highest is 279.

Nina score 1A & 3C, total 183, nomal (academic). I was quite relief. With 183, there are quite a numbers of school she can choose. Include her choice of school, Commonwealth, Fu Hua.

Actually, if she put in effort, she can do it better. She is positive and has plan to study hard, so that she can switch to express in Sec 1 or 2. That good, at least she know what she wants.

Commonwealth is a good school, hope she will excel from there.

When I was young, we live at Blk 33 Taman Ho Swee. It local at a hill top with another block.

We have lots of memories there. Our house is a one and a half room flat. And living inside are 9 family members. Can you imagine?

I still remember how i waited outside the toilet, crossing my legs, hoping the person in the toilet will be out in the next second.

I remember how I brush my teeth at the basin where my mum is cooking just next to me.

When raining at night, how we climb high up to releast the windows canvas when there dont even has the glass panel.

I also remember how we can talk from kitchen to the bed room, as the house is full o f people, we can talk anywhere with anyone you like.

I like to sleep with my hold body cover up except the head, you know why? So that at night we crocoach passby my territery, I will be awake.

I sleep next to the sewing machine, I have to giveway to my Sis at night, in order for her to rush out our new year clothing.

I remember how we squeeze at the small kitchen cabinet to do our homework.

When young, my brother was timid, at night, if he is going to the toilet, I will sit at the kitchen, watching the stars and wait for him to finish his business. And he will keep talking to me to make sure I am there.

I wont forget how me and my bro watch football at night. Although I use to fall asleep, he will wake me up when there is a goals.

There are too many happening in this little house. How we are all growth up, have our own family, I still keep dreaming of thing happening at the area. It could be the people that I known recently, but the scene in the dream in at the old estate - Taman Ho Swee. In the dream, I could be running up and down the stairs; reading paper in my old living room. It just happen at the familiar places where I lived for 25 years.

I just have to much of fond memories at Taman Ho Swee which I will never forget. It is sad that the estate is going to demolish and develop into private estate. So on 11 Nov, we, sibiling decided to visit the places where we once lived, to have pictures taken. Here are some of the pictures.
