Jurong Pri School hold their first family on 25 Aug.

The events include jumbo sales, game stores, telematch and Family Talent Contest.

The TCS actor黄俊雄is JPS former student. He was invited to the school to hold the lucky draw and at the same time, taking group photos with the student. Nina try to get his autograph, but fail the get it, as alot of student trying get close to him and their principle has to stop the crowd.

We take part in the family talent contest. Initially, we wanted to sing, but find it troublesome to get the music. So we decide to make interesting sandwishes.

Total got 7 families take part.

We make ham sandwishes, then use the shape cutter to cut into different shapes such as moon, flower, star and pig. We then decorate the sandwishes with small tomato, small little umbrella and a glass of ice-lemon tea with slice of lemon hanging on the glass.

After our turn, we move all our thing to the back stage, and they just finish off hte sandwishes. I guess the sandwishes look nice and also they are too hungry.

At the end, we didn't manage to get the top 3, just certificate of participation. It is just for the fun of it. And let them have the experience of standing on stage and be more confidence.

Our company has a committee in charge of the 7th month celebration.

This year, it held on 31 Aug. Participation is $60 for prayer items plus 9-course dinner.

The celebration is very 热闹, got parpet show, a big tentage for prayer, afternoon got Sai Gong liam keng. They also bought 烧猪烧鸭烧鸡。

I have been participate in the celebration since I join 11 years ago.

I am writing this while waiting for the dinner to start (around 8pm).

The P6 prelim result is out. Nina didn't manage to get a good result. I was abit of disappointed. I feel that the tution teacher has put in effort to teach her math and science.

I know the paper could be quite tough. But she is smart, she should get a better result. May be she has watch too much of TV.

I actually worry that she may not be able to get in to Normal (acad).

Just about a month later is her PSLE, hope she can concentre and put in effort to get a better result.

This P6 prelim, she has score the highest mark in Highest Mother Tounge in her class.

那天，Samuel功课没做就想上床睡觉。

mummy : 快起来做！

他抱着枕头从床上坐起来。

samuel ：你要我坐（做）,我坐咯！

mummy ：做你的Math啊!

他拿了math worksheet就塞在屁股下，坐在worksheet上。

samuel ：喏，我在坐（做)math.

真的被他搞到啼笑皆非！！

This year national day, I give them an option to either go see fire work or swimming, they choose swimming.

I brough them to Jurong West Extension swimming ppol, this swimming is quite new (about a year old), got a "river" for float, slide with 3 storey height and a children playground pool.

My next target is actually to let them learn swimming. But has been put on hold, as I haven't find a good coach.

Back to swimming. We rent a float at $2 for 2 hrs. They take turn to relax on the float, and the other will push the float. Quit fun, and the water is clean. An hour later, we went over to the children playground. They try to play the children small slide, but to their dissappointment, they are over age and over size as well. This remind me that they are reaching the top of the children categories, and crossing over to teenage soon. I should try to let them do/play what they can as Children.

Nina suggest we play the adult's slide, is confine and is 3 storey height. The last time i play was about 20 years ago. When we will at the starting point quing up, I was so scare. Nina was more brave, she be the first to slide down. I was hestitate, but i need to set example and encourage Samuel to play (he is scare too),
so i take a deep breath and slide. When we reach the pool, is actually so fun. We play afew more round and enjoy ourself.

When we about to leave the pool for shower, i slip at the stair and sit hardy on the stair. So pain and embarrass. Luckily only little bruise at the ankle. (when I told my friend about my fall, first thing she ask is anyone see it. Ok, I didn't dare to look around, just pretend nothing and walk straight to lockers haha).

After the swim, they have a delicious dinner, Japenese food at the sports complex. Samuel enjoy his sushi and Nina enjoy the side order, a shell type of dish, like scallop. It was so yummy that she can't resist and order one additional plate just for herself. Of course, it cost a small bomb. But ok la, once awhile, let them enjoy the food they like.

That's end our national's day holiday and hope they enjoy themself.

Long time no update. Getting lazier.

I intend to change my handphone. But before that, I would like to transfer my data, including sms from my existing SIM card.

So I bought one SIM card reader ($7) and one memory card ($6)reader. So that i could transfer the existing SIM card information to my new memory card.

SIM card reader come with a program. This program allow u to edit and copy the information. Problem is , I can't install this in my office PC, as our IT has block the downloading of program into company PC. And the home PC also block the loading of program by my SIL. I have yet to get my SIL to install it for me.

I would prefer to the editing, copying with my office PC. It is faster, and no destruction. But too bad, look like i have to do it at home.
