There is this Army Open House at Pasir Laba Camp on 01 & 2 Sept. Bro invited me to join him with his 2 kids to the open house.

I blur blur thought is at paya lebar leh. There is shuttle bus at Boon Lay Interchange. Very systematic and the frequency of bus is very fast, less then 5 mins we onboard the bus heading to the camp. Thumnb up to the soldiers. Half an hours, we are in the camp.

The open house cover a very wide area, we only hang around at the fear factor section. Fear Factor at AXN? no la, not that fear. The area is army training area, where there are ostacle run, rapelling and flying fax for us to try. Als got IPPT station for trying or challenge.

I, Nina and Samuel try the Rapelling. We have to climb down from 3 storey height building using one rope. The moment that we have to lean back from the building edge is abit scary. But when start to kick off from the building is quite fun. Is a long queue to try the repelling. We only try once.

Then we try the ostacle run. When we walking toward the ostacle zone, xin yu already standing in front waiting for us, suddenly, she just start singing while stepping on her feet, "we will we will ROCK you!", so cute, when she saw us, she feel pai sei and run toward her father. She is alway so quiet when we see her, quite surprise that she can sing the song.

I am getting old, cause when I try to just down from 1.6m height, I was so scare, but I cant turn back, as it is a very narrow wood, the soldier encourage me to jump, no choice, close my eyes and jump down. If 10 years ago, I guess I will just jump without blinking my eyes.

After that, we try to play the live shooting, but have to waiting for one hour or so. Bro's two kids is tired, and Nina and Samuel got classes later. So we left at 3pm. But we will be back to tomorrow.

The next day, I went with Nina. We try the Flying Fox, very exciting. We queue for 1.15 mins just to play the 5 sec. And because of the long queue, when we went to Live shooting zone, the zone is closed. we missed the live shooting again. :(

We try the rapelling again. Once of the soldier told us, queue for so long, later come down, we can go up agin. So good of him. So we actually try 3 or 4 times. Shiok meh.

8pm we watch the firework before heading back home.

The Army has done a very good job in organising this event. Well organised!!
